Jason Marion

Jason Marion is a singer/songwriter/alternative artist from Dixon (near Sacramento), CA. Originally from Wisconsin, Marion moved to California in 1998. After moving to the Bay Area in 2008, Jason started playing dueling pianos all over the country, state fairs, clubs, corporate events, weddings. In the early 2000's, Jason opened for bands such as Jefferson Starship (Jefferson Airplane), Gary Wright, Ambrosia, and The Little River band, to name a few.
Jason has transitioned from secular to Christian and is writing music from his life experiences including his faith. This transition has taken Jason to new places spiritually as he discovers his purpose. Jason’s purpose for his music is to take the Gospel of Jesus to as many as he can.
Jason has been influenced from a vast array of places such as the over 2000 covers songs he learned for the dueling piano show. Marion is also a worship leader at New Life Christian Center in El Sobrante, CA. Jason has been inspired by other Christian music leaders such as Chris Tomlin & Hillsong. He loves the music but wants to push his limits of the norm- in the same vein as Freddy Mercury or The Beatles, but with a Christian message. Perhaps one of his greater creative/inspiration pools resides in his new bride Nina, who brings influence and support, as you can hear in the song Froggy Prince (which Nina herself named). Family is important to Jason and he frequently sends songs to his family in India and Wisconsin for their opinion and thoughts.
Jason’s newest projects; (double-album) Waiting for Grace and Welcoming Grace, are the first 2 parts of The Grace Trilogy. Jason is currently working on the 3rd album, Warriors of Grace, (part III of The Grace Trilogy)- due out early 2021.
